  • Material Composition:
    • Elastomeric Compounds: Tailored to meet a variety of operational demands:
      • Natural Rubber (NR/SBR): Offers excellent dynamic properties for general-purpose use, with an operational temperature range of -40°C to +70°C.
      • Chlorobutyl (CIIR): Known for its exceptional resistance to acids and high temperatures, with an operational range of -30°C to +115°C.
      • Nitrile Rubber (NBR): Provides superior resistance to oils, fuels, and outdoor conditions, operational between -25°C and +110°C.
      • Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM): Ideal for high-temperature environments with excellent resistance to ozone and weathering, functional from -20°C to +115°C.
      • Chloroprene Rubber (CR): Balances good weather resistance with moderate oil resistance, operational in the range of -20°C to +110°C.
  • Reinforcement Layers: The air bellows are reinforced with multiple fabric plies between the inner and outer rubber layers, enhancing durability and allowing the bellows to withstand higher pressures and loads.
  • End Closures: The D Series Single Convolution bellows come with several closure options, allowing for versatile installation:
    • Type 1: Standard bead ring design, suitable for general applications.
    • Type 2: Enhanced bead ring design for applications requiring higher pressure handling and secure mounting.
    • Type 3 and Type 4: Advanced closure designs that provide superior stability and load handling for specific high-performance applications.
  • Metallic Components: Standard components are manufactured from electro-galvanized steel, offering resistance to corrosion. Stainless steel options (AISI-304 or AISI-316L) are available for environments with aggressive chemicals or high corrosion potential.
